For the Facilitators of the currently 6 Follow-Up Coding Clubs to the Code and Design Camps, we have developed a curriculum with workshops and self-study material to increase their knowledge, teaching capabilities and job readiness. 8 Facilitators have already participated in the curriculum.

Future Facilitators will go through the curriculum in a 12-month journey.

The curriculum consists of:

• 6 on-site workshops
• Accompanying self-study materials

Content focuses on:

• Didactic and training methodology for Facilitators
• Front-end Software Development
• Back-end Software Development
• Soft Skills, Team Work, and Leadership

Not only the facilitators benefit from this learning, but also the participants of the Coding Clubs will have increased chances to find access to employment in the digital industry in Rwanda. Currently, 255 young coders are participating in the Coding Clubs across Rwanda.
