Ntare Louisenlund School(NLS) is a new international educational institution located in Rwanda-Bugesera inspired by Uganda's prestigious Ntare School. The school aims to provide a high-quality education with a strong emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines.

It is currently a candidate school for the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and is pursuing authorization as an IB World School, indicating its commitment to international educational standards. Additionally, it has launched scholarship programs aimed at attracting talented students in STEM fields.

The Coding Club at NLS is an exciting initiative aimed at empowering students to enhance their coding skills through a structured and engaging platform. This program is designed to support students with diverse career aspirations, particularly those interested in software development, by providing them with the tools and knowledge to "speak code."

📚 Program Structure

● The Coding Club utilizes a platform called Code Monkey, which offers a variety of courses at different levels. Each course is structured with challenges that students must solve to progress to the next level. This gamified approach not only makes learning fun but also ensures that students build a solid foundation in coding concepts.

● Flexible Learning: The club meets regularly normally on Monday and Tuesday, allowing students to balance their normal academic requirements with coding.

💫 Program Highlights

● Deep Understanding of Logic: Students engage in practical coding challenges that reinforce their skills and encourage creativity. Challenges are designed to encourage students to dive deeper into the rationale behind coding challenges, enhancing their problem-solving abilities.

● Skill Development: Participants are encouraged to progress through various levels, gaining confidence and competence in coding as they tackle increasingly complex challenges.

● Support Career Aspirations: The club aims to equip students with coding skills that align with their career goals, whether in software development or other tech-related fields.
